
Recently in Mongolia, we have seen several serious food poisoning outbreaks, yet with proper food safety training of food workers, these incidents could have been avoided.
Churchill’s Co. Ltd., a provider of FOOD HYGIENE & FOOD SAFETY training courses will shortly be offering Food Hygiene & Food Safety training for CATERING STAFF working in the MINING Sector. The course is designed for catering managers, supervisors, site managers and senior catering staff – course dates are July 20th-21st, and July 27th, 28th and 29th. Food safety topics covered will include - basic microbiology and food poisoning, temperature controls, cross contamination & safe food handling, hazardous foods, personal hygiene, sanitation and cleaning, food allergens, pest & waste control, and an understanding of how to implement a HACCP based (Hazard Analysis) food safety system. The fee for the course is 250,000 MNT per person for the 5 days of training – to be held at National University of Mongolia - Building 1, Main Lecture Hall in Ulaanbaatar, and includes course materials (Mongolian), refreshments, Lunch, and Hygiene and HACCP Food Safety certificated examinations.
